Got questions? We've got answers!
Yes! LiveScreensaver will support live or recorded content. It was actually created with live content in mind but recorded content support was added because of the large amount of content available.
It will loop.
It's the primary way how we pay for all this. Nobody is making big bucks. If crypto mining on an average PC was making big bucks, everyone would be doing it. If we are lucky, it will make anywhere from 1-3 cents/day. That's about $11/year and still less than the cost of a paid license. By pooling all the unused CPU cycles together, we can mine cheap crypto and continue to support the project. Would you rather pay real money or let your unused CPU cycles do it for you? I hate charging people money but we got to pay for this somehow.
Downloads from the Microsoft or Apples stores do not have any crypto mining. However, the version from the Microsoft store has limited features and the version from the Apple store requires a paid subscription after a free trial period.
